The sequel is here! All are invited to the second annual Literacy is Key: A Book & Author Affair luncheon. Proceeds from the event will support Literacy Mid-South and Reading is Fundamental (RIF) programs. The featured author will be Kim Edwards, author of the New York Times best-selling novel, The Memory Keeper’s Daughter and The Lake of Dreams. The program will also feature remarks by Memphis’ own Lisa Patton, author of Yankee Doodle Dixie sequel to Whistlin’ Dixie in a Nor’easter, as well as Ace Atkins, author of The Ranger and Infamous. The event is hosted by the Memphis Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma (KKG) Fraternity. Individual tickets to the luncheon start at $45. Reserved seating is available beginning at $400 for a table of 8.
